Clemmie first meets Charlie after he accidentally wrecks her mermaid costume at a party with her friends. She can't wait to escape St. Aidan, until she inherits her sort of great grandma's seafront house. Of course, Charlie is her new neighbour much to her delight...

Her friends, Sophie, Plum and Nell all offer to help her transform her new place on the seafront into a kitchen as everyone would love the sea view on offer as well as cake and drinks. After practising, they come up with some fantastic treats and set theme nights for them too. It takes off to a great success but what do the builder's want to do with the building development wise?

There's also the case of finding out about her family more, especially her dad and his side of the family and a half brother looking for her...

But can she afford building work to keep the seafront kitchen open or will she be pulled back to Paris and her job there, just how will she feel about leaving her friends, family and Charlie and Diesel his dog she loves too?

This was a story full of hope as Clemmie settles in to a life different to her normal in Paris. Discovering love and friendship she sews herself into the community and proves how everyone can help each other and become great friends and have fun too!o

There's sweet romance, sweet treats, cute dogs and life drama set in a coastal beauty spot, imagine yourself at The Little Cornish Kitchen and fall in love with this story as each chapter is full of intrigue and action you don't want to miss!

The Cosy Seaside Chocolate Shop by Caroline Roberts

Following on from last year's visit to the Christmas Chocolate Shop, we revisit Em whom runs the seaside Chocolate Shop where she makes a vast array of different styled chocolate products. She's helped by Bev and Holly and also has a boyfriend Max whom is always working when she is it seems as her old fiancee Luke's brother turns up, Nate and things begin to happen there...

Her mean landlord Neil is back too as the rent on the shop looks set to go up and mention of selling the property starts as The Rock Shop opens in the old fish shack by the beach. Em has a lot to cope with and decisions to be made.

In a friendship full, love story of sorts, a passion for business thrives from character Em as she fights so hard for her beloved shop. A women's chick lit book that anyone can enjoy from teens to older ages as who doesn't love a story with drama, love and chocolate at it's heart?!

The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Seasons Of The Witch by Sarah Rees Brennan

In this Sabrina The Teenage Witch retelling and tie in to the Netflix series, we meet Sabrina who's approaching her sixteenth birthday upon which she will come into her full witch powers and attend a magical school instead of her human one.

In the lead up to her birthday she and her cousin Ambrose get I to trouble casting a spell to make Harvey love her which goes a bit overboard and she also gets possessed by a water sprite who tries to claim her for themselves as a vessel, there's no lack of drama to be solved.

I am not a huge fantasy book lover, however I grew up following Sabrina in the 90's as a kid and so took a chance on this book and wasn't disappointed. It has drama, evil witches, love, crazy family and no lack of enemies to throw up conflict this series has started in a great way and I need to watch the Netflix series now!

Handle With Care by Rachael Hearson

In this book we see how a health visitor lives and the journey to the job that ensued from training, moving, furthering education and falling into hard times and learning who true friends are while dealing with the demanding task of caring for babies and children living in the community from the happy to the threatened, uncared for in squalor in shows the huge social divide in society and how health workers put their lives on the line to help out new and experienced mother's trying to cope.

It was a very open and honest book and gave a full perspective on what various things health visitors have to go through and see in all the situations they face it was frank, open and very honest and shows what dedication they have to the job, especially in Rachael's case.

My Greek Island Summer by Mandy Baggot

Becky has had enough and wants a break from her bossy sister and so heads off to house sit in Greece as part of a holiday getaway.

On the way, she meets Elias a lawyer helping his clients settle their divorce which is complicated with houses and finances to split.

Having to navigate her life helping out house sitting and dealing with her new travel buddy as she and Elias t to know each other properly despite their beginning getting to know each other the story made me laugh and kept me hooked it was a super sweet summer romance!

I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure as the holiday/house sitting gets off to become an adventure with the many stops along the way the story was similar to Hallmark film, A Cinderella Story only without the Christmas setting but two sisters running a sandwich/catering business and one bossy, one less so etc and a cute guy etc all were reminiscent of the film but worked so well in this summer book so if you enjoy this you'll enjoy that film too especially now during isolation!

Far From Perfect By Holly Smale

Faith Valentine is a feisty girl who's set to be an actress like the rest of her family it seems.

However when her relationship with her singer boyfriend Noah hits the rocks, her mum is depressed and locks herself away from the world while Faith 's dad is off with his new partner.

All Faith wants is to be happy and do what makes her happy, can she get there?

Faith is a feisty character having to cope with a lot happening in her life while trying to work out what will make her happy to growing up into her future she desires. For me it was as gripping as the first book and worth a read to get to know the family and their drama better I can't wait to get to know the other siblings and their various different lives too as the series progresses on.

Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them and take part in the book blog tour!

The Cornish Cream Tea Summer by Cressida Mclaughlin

Lila is Charlie's cousin who surprises her by turning up out of the blue after a disaster in London with her best friend and job.

It safe to say drama follows Lila as an opportunity for the Cream Tea Bus to work with a BBC production arises and Lila is eager practically signing them up before asking Charlie properly!

As Lila gets to grips working the bus, brushing shoulders with tv stars and many guys Lila wonders of maybe Cornwall can serve her life well like it has leading Charlie to Daniel and then they drop a huge bombshell on her, can she cope as she gets left to look after the bus for a while?while

Lila also grows close to actor Sam and soon they're falling for each other as lives look set to separate in a permanent way can they figure out a way to stay together?

This series is one of my favourite ever discoveries and seeing Lila arrive and enjoy the area, uniqueness of the bus and the chance to be part of a filming set is great fun to read. If you enjoy Cornwall, food or baking and love stories this is a book for you a magical read I wish I could wander into myself and live in!

Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!
