The Fall Of Days by Kristin Knight
As autumn has fully arrived now I found this poetry collection and was pulled to read it as the seasons change and embrace it.
Life, a beautiful poem about how rainy, stormy weather can mimic our moods as humans and we can't always be bright happy and sunshine.
Once Upon A Time, a powerful poem of seeking answers to be insulted by how time changes everything.
A beautiful collection of evocative poetry around life changing like seasons.

Autumn's Splendor by Julie Kusma
This was a beautiful collection of poems celebrating the joy each season contains and brings with it moving in.
Rustle, about the beauty of autumn's falling leaves and Memories, both poems talking of enjoying nature and being united together.
Weather Man, was a fun playful poem about the weather and listening to each other.
I liked the images between poems too, simply black on white, as if scanned in a photocopier, raw and real, with simple white text quotes placed over them.

Pumpkin Spice Pact by Arwa Chakkiwala
Calla and Jude begin fake dating as the autumn festival approaches and Calla's family think she has a boyfriend, Jude.
Then her ex Miles shows up and lines blur more as Jude plays the role of boyfriend more seriously, charming her family, until he vanishes and suddenly Calla finally faces up to her family.
This was a great seasonal short story themed around pumpkin season as Calla carries the weight of her family expectations, trying to run her business solo and the deep theme of her never feeling enough for having a traditional life, in a relationship or married, which her family pressures her over a lot.

Cinnamon Lattes and Rainy Afternoons: Poems and Texts (Seasons and Lattes Book 1) by Pip Wilde
This poetry collection is all about the changing season of autumn and embracing it like we embrace change in life too talking of the way nature speaks, makes music, embraces us as time changes nature and we grow older through the seasons shared too.
A couple of stand out poems to me were:
21. foreign, a simple poem how a bed can be a home to the good and bad, a witness of the happiest and lowest of times, of comfort and solace or joy.
38. all the things i love make it worth it, was a super relatable poem almost mirroring how I feel about life, embracing books and music and finding joy in what you love.
A lovely collection starting off a new series which I look forward to reading the coming collections to accompany this one.

November 9 by Colleen Hoover
Two lives collide after a twist in their stories brain them to meet by chance one November 9th at a restaurant where eighteen year old Fallon is meeting her father and Ben sticks up for her despite being a stranger he fakes being her boyfriend on the night she's leaving to go live in New York.
They leave with a promise to her future self and future Ben that they meet up every November 9 until they are twenty three. Ben will write a book of their story while Fallon will grow her confidence in herself and date despite feeling less than perfect and not attractive because of her fire scars and pursue her acting on Broadway.
As their lives evolve many twists lie ahead for the two, from deaths, births, other Colleen Hoover book characters making appearances and their relationship reaching it's decision point.
The last few chapters though! This climax suddenly brings us full circle in another twist in the plot revealing many secrets which Fallon will be the decider over what happens next for the two.
