Following book one of Lara Jean's story, we catch up with her as she goes on her first real date with Peter to the cinema only to have to escape unseen by Genevieve who's also at the same film showing!

As the pair get reacquainted, they also see Genevieve and Peter together leading to a broken heart of sorts and igniting Lara Jean to win a contest between the old friends who shared a treehouse as kids.
