Fostered by Eli Ash
This was a deeply moving poetic storytelling of life in care and how it makes you tough and resilient in life.
Booklover, was such a clever acrostic/poem and very true to escape life when needed into an easily accessible world, like books provide us with.
The collection also details the joy and heartbreak a pet can bring you in life with and after dealing with their loss.
It was a beautifully written book, especially the final part to know as a mum to her new baby, was doing well and the postpartum depression experienced lifted but was so bravely discussed in the end part of the collection too.
From a tough life as a child to a more joyous adulthood and showing how your start in life doesn't have to define or hold you back in any way.
