The Distance Between Us by Emilia Mlak
This was a great poetry collection told from the split perspective of a couple who are long distance and trying to cope with that situation.
The book shows us how distance can separate a couple, but, the love stays alive, making the reunion all the sweeter when it happens.
Yet, also how it can over time prove difficult to cope with too and this book explores both the happy and sad times, from both guy and girl's perspectives as they try to stay together.
It was well thought out collection and flowed so well between the couple's perspectives as the book went on too, I read it cover to cover in one evening as I was hooked on seeing how it played out and it's easily one of the best split perspective collections of poetry I've read.
