Lily really wants a dog so when she meets elderly Charlotte and her dog Fred in the park and Charlotte offers to share him it's a perfect match despite Fred being an elderly dog.
However when Fred becomes unwell, her friends Robbie and Keri help her rehome Daisy a dog in need and maybe Lily and Charlotte won't be left pet less after all...
A great read about family, friendship between any ages and a love of animals and pets Fred and Daisy showed the difference between dog's characters as they age but still how much they love their spring owners. Lily wanting a dog is just like I was wanting a rabbit and her character was so relatable that way!
