Carrying on from part one we see how Regan reacts to the news that Charlie shockingly dropped at the end of part one which was a shock.
As she and him set out on a relationship of sorts, he helps Regan discover what she wants to do next with her life and career leading to her getting a job she likes as a stop gap until she gets her feet in the ground and opens her own market stall!
Can taking chances guide her in work and love?
I can't wait for the next part once again Bella is a world wizard and I'm also intrigued into Cleo coming back from her work trip and reacting to everything that's changed for Regan too this story so far has me hooked and rooting for Charlie and Regan to work out and enjoy their happiness no matter how short lives of could be!
Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!

Something Like Happy by Sasha Greene
Nick tries to commit suicide driven by his depression and unfulfilling job, he climbs to the edge of a building...
Then Jade stops him, bearing the weight of her sister's suicide she wants to prevent anyone else going the same way.
Jade gets Nick to meet up with her and pursue her happy list from days out with Archie an old man
from an elderly folks home, to yoga and dinner dates together the pair find a unique kind of happy from such a horrible situation. But can it last?
This was a fantastic book all about the impact and choice of suicide. It was a deep and tearful read to get through but so much happened I flew through it in a day. A fabulous debut about an ever important topic.

The Ice Garden by Guy Jones
Jess is alergic to the sun, sick of being covered up, of hospitals and doctors she waits till night when she sneaks out without her skin protection on.
At the hospital she meets Davey, a boy in a deep coma and she writes him stories which she reads to him in the hope he can hear her.
Playing in the local park in the dead of night, suddenly scared and rightly so she goes through a hedge where she stumbles upon the Ice Garden. There she discovers Owen, a boy made of ice and when they exchange token gifts, Jess finds she can be in the sun again, however magical cures can't last and when a choice must be made, it is obvious to Jess she can't escape herself and her condition forever...
Over all we have to wonder whether Davey remembers her or her stories if he ever wakes after crashing in the hospital too...
The book features a lot of magical realism, Jess and her condition is a real issue the book raises awareness of as it is a true rate condition that some people suffer with terribly. The idea of storytelling saving lives was a nice idea and allowed Jess an adventure and bought her some happiness after she's sick of tests at the hospital and the usual day to day life she has.

Izzy's Magical Football Adventure by Emma Larkin
In this book, Izzy realises her dream thanks to playing Gaelic football with her brothers in their backyard and being inspired by her grandma's medal bracelet too and all that she achieved and what she had to show for it as well as a legacy.
This may be a short story, but the magic that takes place showing Izzy the future makes the book and upbeat, positive and inspiring read that will show girls they can do and play to achieve in any sport they choose!
Many thanks to the author for allowing me to go review this book for her!

Girl Out Of Water by Nat Luurtsema
In this book we meet Lou an avid swimmer until she doesn't beat her record and fails to make her swim camp dream come true to possibly compete in the Olympics one day.
She fights off jealousy as her best friend and only friend from her school, Hannah makes the team and thus leaves her behind even though they keep in touch during the novel via text as Lou tries to make new friends and Hannah starts to suffer with mental and physical health and raises alarm bells on Lou.
As Lou awkwardly tries to make friends she finds herself helping out three guys in her school who want to enter Britain Has Talent as synchronised swimmers.
Lou is a fun protagonist and a friend you could dream to have as shows her caring nature over her friend and family. I had heard a lot about this book, all good and I have to say I agree it is a great read as not many teen fiction books focus on swimming as a passion usually it's a lot of love and growing up topics instead of the love of a hobby which added a great soon on this novel.

Becoming Jo by Sophie McKenzie
In this retelling of classic Little Women made modern, we see from the perspective of aspiring writer Jo, as she befriends a guy her age called Lateef whom is an immigrant orphan living across the road from her family with his foster dad who lost his family too. He's richer than Jo and her family.
Amy is quite superficial wanting a nose job and to fit in and find friends as well as enjoy making art and painting.
Beth is shy and quiet loving to play piano but not in front of others and needs to find her confidence.
Meg dreams of being a nanny as she loves kids but feels judged by Jo who though she wanted to be a designer as she's good with styling.
Jo of course wants to be an author.
As the novel progresses, Jo and Amy come to blows about her writing, a fall out over money with Lateef leaves Jo feeling sad and of course the girls deal with many issues as their dad gets sick abroad working and has to leave them in the care of their aunt they don't like!
However each girls discovers her true path in life and Lateef stuns Jo with a revelation she didn't see coming. For the sisters, illness, crushes, college and writing all push them apart but ultimately they'll be stronger for it I feel.
A novel with real teen family life at the heart!

Unstoppable by Dan Freedman
Roxy and Kaine are fourteen years old twins old Kaine is a bitter guy hanging out and causing trouble while his friend Aj is by his side.
With their mum working all hours and their dad jobless now money is tighter than ever.
However the kids futures look bright a possible football star in Kaine and a tennis star in Roxy.
But Kaine is a complex character after the death of his grandma he's after out becoming increasingly angry at the world and his family for not being there. He believes he's second best to them all and gets in trouble at school despite his chance with a football scout he gets taken in to a notorious gang alike his uncle wound up involved in even if his was by accident and soon enough he's in deep and carrying a knife...
For Roxy though her dad pushing her tennis career has ended the fun for HR as he likes on the pressure and drinks a lot to quell his own disappointment in himself being jobless treating her future as his job and controlling her whole life.
However as tragedy strikes second chances are granted but can everybody survive?
In this family both teens are unhappy but see each other as flipping ecstatic unable to see they're unhappy too. Their relationship is utterly broken and by the end of the book we see how they need to actually talk and be open to each other to be truly happy not be snippy with each other how they come across.
I really enjoyed how the characters and up and their contrast as Roxy has a bright future while Kaine looks an escape and winds up in with a gang he knows it wrong to do and the difference in how they cope with their situation after losing their grandma and deal with their pushy and ignorant parents highlights how no one should not tell their parents how they want to live their life!
This book is one you won't want to put down until you've finished, it's a fantastic gritty and gripping story.

Mouthy by Megan McKenna
In this book Megan talks openly about her life growing up from her singing dreams, beloved grandad and more in an honest and open look into her life.
I loved hearing her passion for music and performing from an early age and the truth about TV drama she was involved in. It was a witty and real life talk book and I loved it!

Vlad The World's Worst Vampire by Anna Wilson
Growing up as the only young vampire in his a house, Vlad is a lonely nine year old who dreams of human life as in his favourite book series he reads secretly so his parents won't find out as they being vampire's dislike humans. Vlad also struggles to learn to fly as a bat which is an important lesson his family wants him to achieve.
After Vlad dares go out in sunlight, he ventures to a school like in his favorite books and meets Mixzie a girl who accepts him as her new best friend. He finds he fits in well at the school with everyone except bully Boz who doesn't believe anything about Vlad and growing up on Transylvania.
Yet when Lizzie ends up at his house he better hope no one see's her as she's a dreaded human his parents won't want to meet!
This is a really fun and imaginative book for kids. I GRE up watching Young Dracula and to me this would be super alike that series being humorous to read. Anna is a beloved author and her other animal works are also the same style of writing so if you check any of her books out you for sure won't be disappointed!

Sunshine Is Forever by Kyle T Cowan
Hunter is depressed and so he goes off to a camp where they help through therapy to work on the teens and their history.
Whilst at camp, he meets Corrine a very out there, confident girl who he finds himself in a form of relationship with despite relationships being banned at camp. Although she wants to break them free, just as maybe he feels the camp could possibly benefit him...
We learn during the book of the turmoil he feels of guilt by his parents and everyone else he thinks, blaming him for not being able to prevent a harrowing incident occurring to his sister.
This book was a really good read for how complex depression can be due to trauma and the therapy mixed with camp is obviously used to show a case of one method of escapism and treatment combined to try and prevent suicide. The language was raw and honest but could trigger people if effected by depression and suicide themselves.

Wounded Dance by Deanna Roy
When Denham Young rocks up back in town, Livia can't believe it. Fifteen year old her had gotten pregnant by him when he lived with her family and was supposedly her half brother. She had to give up her young daughter as her parents shunned her into a quiet life, until Blitz Craven danced into her world and heart as in the previous first book, Forbidden Dance.
As this book is the second in the lovers dance series of standalones, I am beyond excited for this journey to play out.
It didn't disappoint and took me just over an hour and a half to finish!
Denham Young doesn't give up in practically stalking Livia and waits outside her dance studio in his truck getting evermore persistent to wanting access to his daughter even when he finds out she was adopted. We learn how Livia and him got caught up in teenage lust and passion and got carried away until Denham was sent away and his life revolved around jail sentences since. Continuing to insist he's a changed man, eventually Blitz and Livia have had enough, a restraining order hasn't deterred his persistence and so they bail him out of jail and offer to make contact with their daughter despite Livia already knowing her, just not as a mother. However, Denham shows careless and tactless he truly can be and Livia finds herself stunned at his reaction.
You in won't forget this ending in a hurry!
Deanna has done another smashing job with this book, I truly love this set so far and the passion between Blitz and Livia as well as their nature's fit so well I feel compelled and addicted to read all of these books as they're just so well written and detailed I really appreciate the author allowing me this arc copy to review and will rave about these books and the author till everyone I know reads them!

No Filter by Orlagh Collins
After her mum tried to overdose, Emerald finds herself sent away to Ireland for the summer holiday's to stay with her Grandma. Whilst on the beach there she first meets Liam, a local boy whom wants to pursue a career in the music industry. She then has quite a summer being a normal teenager for once, falling in love and going to parties, not like usual back home even though her best friend Kitty does that sort of thing, Emerald has had to look after her mum until this summer.
This book honestly didn't quite jell with me and the of felt very up and down throughout the story, the base of to novel's plot made it sound more engaging than I found it by the end to be completely honest in this review. However, it did have some fun chapters and I enjoyed reading Liam and Emerald's perspective over a more traditional narrative. I would she encourage you to try and read it for yourselves and judge it accordingly as not everyone will enjoy a book as another person.

Waiting For Callback Take Two by Perdita and Honor Cargill
In the second book of the series, this book follows on from where Elektra had just landed her first serious movie job, throwing her into a life of film work, on set drama and no traditional school.
The downside however, is that she misses out on time with her boyfriend as he's off in Transylvania filming his highly awaited vampire film. Rumours fly all about romances on set and as Elektra and those around her worry for her, she finds a herself making a tough decision.
Will it pay off? Read it to find out!
I really enjoyed it, a lot more action with there being a film made now in the book and it was more entertaining with the range of new characters in the novel.
